I Got Rhythm

This new show with Musical Director Barry Todd features the best of light jazz and theatre music.

The exceptional Barry Todd has an illustrious history in the business having been Musical Director to, amongst others, West End star Dave Willetts and the late Anthony Newley. Now he brings all his experience and musicianship to this exciting new partnership with Jayne.

On stage with Jayne, and Barry on piano, will be Dave Pullin and Mike Tustin on double bass and drums.

Not only are you guaranteed an evening of fabulous song and music, there will also be much laughter along the way! If you haven’t yet seen your ‘must see’ show, this is it!

Featuring classic standards from Gershwin, Sammy Cahn, Louis Armstrong, Johnny Mandel, Cole Porter & many more!

Along with fabulous songs and exceptional musicians, Jayne’s trademark style and easy rapport with her audiences will, as always, have everyone tapping their feet and feeling very much a part of this wonderful new show.

Enter the delightful soprano Jayne May-Sysum to give beautifully poised performances ...

... the clarity was notable ...

... showing what a superb instrument the human voice can be ...

These wonderful comments (and others) were made by Michael Drake of the Eastern Daily Press (EDP) in his review of Jayne's concert on 17th January with the Norwich Baroque (see below). For the full review (reproduced by kind permission of the EDP) see this page here >>>

We now have some superb photographs which we have been able to publish with permission. For large images See this page here. For a new gallery of images, see here (separate window which can be closed to return here)
